Draw a Bear Face

 If you want to draw a bear face, one that is easy enough for even kinders to tackle, this one will do nicely.


Make sure though to begin with the two center guidelines in place. They may be folded, or drawn, they just make a big difference when students are deciding where their lines need to be. You’ll be surprised how many more large heads you get, than if just had blank paper.


MATERIALS

  • Drawing paper
  • Black marker
  • Crayons

DIRECTIONS

Time needed: 45 minutes.

How to Draw a Bear Face


1.Draw an upside down


2.Add a circle nose.     

3.Draw an upside down heart shape.


4.Add two circles on the sides for eyes.


5.Draw two ears.

6.Add large U for the mouth.


7.Add inside lip line.


8.Add teeth and grass in the background.

9.Trace with a marker and color.

    How to Draw LOTS of Cupcakes

    Expand on a basic how to draw a cupcake lesson by making MANY of them, adding lots of bright colors, and maybe a shadow or highlight (or both). These cupcakes were drawn on trading card size paper (2.5″ x 3.5″) and placed in a trading card sleeve. The repetition of a theme and cartoon style drawing would also make a great Pop Art lesson. If the color seems extra bright to you, it happens for two reasons. One, is that I used Sharpie markers and two, is that they are colored on fingerpaint paper. The glossy finish makes the colors just pop. The only drawback to the fingerpaint paper is that it is tricky to draw on with a pencil because you can’t erase lines very well. At all, actually. Therefore I bring it out when drawings are extra simple like these cupcakes. If fact, you might just hide the pencils for this project and have everyone start drawing with a black marker.
